I've read many of the books from this genre that combine crime drama with romance and while this book is not one of the worst it is also not one of the best. I found myself rolling my eyes numerous times by some of the ignorant actions/decisions made throughout the book by the different characters especially Hunter. Hunter has it all money, looks, and intelligence with an IQ over 180 but what she obviously doesn't have is common sense. It's unreal how many times throughout the book she made a boneheaded decision that almost got her killed and put other lives in danger. You would think she would learn after 1 or 2 times but no not this freakishly intelligent woman she keeps repeating the SAME stupid action over and over!!!! If you can get beyond Hunter's ignorant actions and the ending; which I new what was going to happen without an IQ of 180, the rest of the book was okay. Sara was a highly likeable character and Hunter was as well once you got past her lack of common sense. I liked the romance between them because I really wanted to see things work out for Sara. Personally I say this book would be worth it if it wasn't $9.99 but for $9.99 I expect better.Product details

Great book. Love this aurthur.
I love the way this author writes her characters and Hunter Roswell is an exceptional character. This book was suspenseful and kept me glued to it.
Second time I read this story and just as good as the first. Love this and you will not be disappointed.
Is a must read! It has all anyone would want. I have read it twice and each time it gets much better.
AJ Quinn never disappoints. Hostage Moon continues Quinn's fascination with computer geniuses and allows her to spin a story of suspense and romance.
Wow. Just wow. I have to admit that I grade lesbi fiction on a different scale than regular mainstream fiction. But this book is good enough to crossover into the mainstream. Believable characters. Good plot. The right amount of romance. Not crazily inserted just for the sake of a hot and heavy make-out scene. 5 out of 5 on a lesbi scale and 3.5 on a mainstream scale. I did the audio version and enjoyed it very much.
AJ Quinn takes readers on a ride you'll never forget. Hunter goes through a horrific ordeal as a teenager that she is unable to truly get over. It of course molds her into the woman she is now. Living half in past and present. The same ordeal smashes into her present life and she is forced to deal with it and a serial killer who is hell bent on killing her. Sara, an ex-FBI agent is brought in to consult on the case and help capture the stalking serial killer. This is an amazing book about self exploration and how these characters open their hearts up to love. I have read this book several times already and of course recommend it to others readers. Enjoy!
